About the Blog and its Blogiste
It's the movies that have really been running things in America ever since they were invented. They show you what to do, how to do it, when to do it, how to feel about it, and how to look how you feel about it.- Andrew Warhola
Welcome to Shangri-La, where the movies run everything. My name is Jenna Rocca and I live in the Great White North: Toronto, Ontario. Here I write about whatever is deemed important by my standards, and most of the time that's movies. I've been obsessed with movies as early as I could say "Tom Hanks." The first film I remember seeing was Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? on Saturday Night at the Movies with Elwy Yost. This blog is merely a continuation of the narrative that was initiated when I began watching movies. Read about the structure and history of the blog here.
Another work of mine is Shedding Sequins, an experiment in visuality, in other words, my tublelog full of pictures and cool stuff. You just have to see it to believe it.
Other places I'm at:
